Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Home Manager for Wykebeck Court Care Home in Leeds (LS9 6NH). This permanent, full‑time role covers 40 hours per week and requires strong leadership to inspire a multi‑disciplinary team and deliver person‑centred care to residents.

You will manage the home, drive improvements, oversee budgets and regulatory compliance, build relationships with commissioners, and uphold Bupa's standards. A LMCS or RMA or equivalent qualification, plus commercial acumen, is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification.
• A strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset to drive business opportunities and budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team and foster continuous improvements.
• Effective communication and a confident, influential leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team while delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
• Manage operating budgets and the home’s profitability; oversee regulatory compliance.
• Build internal and external relationships, liaise with Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.
• Identify opportunities to improve the home and uphold the Bupa brand and standards.
