Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a purpose-built care home in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. You will provide visible leadership, ensure safe, person-centred care and oversee regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2-3 years in a senior care-management role, budget oversight, staff development and strong communication with residents, families and regulators. The position offers a competitive salary (£70,980) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience as a Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care setting.
• Experience of managing budgets, staffing levels and financial performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, regulators and external partners.
• Flexible approach, including occasional travel, overnight stays or working shifts in exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop senior and wider teams, ensuring recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Maintain responsibility for care planning, reviews and admissions, ensuring regulatory compliance and data protection.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, choice and involvement in decision-making.
• Take overall responsibility for medication management, health & safety and infection prevention.
• Oversee catering, activities and volunteer involvement to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Manage the home's financial performance and ensure budgets are controlled and the service remains sustainable.

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an excellent care home based in the Bognor Regis, West Sussex area.You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a purpose-built care home in Bognor Regis, offering high-quality residential care, residential dementia care, and flexible short stay respite care

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Provide confident, visible leadership to the home, creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment for residents, relatives and colleague
• Lead, motivate and develop senior and wider teams, ensuring effective recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets their social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs
• Maintain responsibility for care planning, reviews and admissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, choice and involvement in decision-making
• Ensure robust safeguarding practice, with zero tolerance for abuse or neglect
• Take overall responsibility for medication management, health & safety and infection prevention
• Oversee catering, activities and volunteer involvement to enhance residents' quality of life
• Manage the home's financial performance, ensuring budgets are controlled and the service remains sustainable
• Work collaboratively with your Area Manager, Quality Business Partner and other colleagues to drive continuous improvement

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• 2-3 years' experience as a Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care setting

To be considered for this position you must hold a Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £70,980 per annum.This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week on days.In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
