Avante Care & Support Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Bridge Haven in Canterbury. This full-time role offers 37 hours per week with potential weekend shifts and requires a driver’s license.

The position focuses on hands-on daily maintenance, repairs, and grounds upkeep to provide a safe, pleasant environment for residents. You will join a not-for-profit care provider serving older adults with quality nursing and home care across Kent and SE London, in a role that supports

Competenze

• Proven maintenance or trade experience, ideally with an understanding of elderly care needs.
• Versatility and teamwork skills, with a can-do attitude.

Mansioni

• Maintain the grounds and perform daily maintenance tasks.
• Handle minor repairs and redecoration to keep areas safe and presentable.
• Monitor essential systems such as heating, lighting, fire alarms, and safety equipment.
• Support management with health, safety, and maintenance audits.
• Liaise with contractors and propose improvements for the home.
