Job summary

Admirals Reach Care Home in Chelmsford seeks an enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to keep the home safe, well maintained and fully operational. You will perform a range of tasks across the building and grounds, conducting repairs, inspections and installations with a proactive, hands-on approach.

You will work with the Home Manager and team to ensure health and safety standards are met, plan maintenance activities and coordinate contractors as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently, identifying issues and taking action.
• Support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination with the Home Manager.
