Job summary

Handford House is seeking a hands-on maintenance lead to supervise day-to-day upkeep of the Ipswich home, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will oversee painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing/electrical work, while upholding high health and safety standards.

You will join a well-established team within Healthcare Homes Group, with induction and ongoing training, supporting residents and staff across the home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Ensuring residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to good health and safety practices at all times.
