Job summary

Nellsar is seeking a maintenance/handyperson at Bromley Park Care Home in Beckenham, South East London. This role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the home and grounds, including painting and redecoration, with driving duties for the home.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification or equivalent experience and a background in care settings is advantageous. Full-time hours and on-site work with ongoing training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating and general property maintenance.
• Maintenance or trade qualification is desirable.
• Care home or similar environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paint and redecorate rooms and common areas as needed.
• Carry out routine repairs and general maintenance across the home and grounds.
• Perform basic plumbing, joinery and plastering where appropriate.
