Job summary

Nazareth Care Charitable Trust is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our care home catering team. You will help with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen environment while supporting residents with care and respect.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, stay flexible, and maintain high energy and work rate.
• Willingness to undertake training to gain the Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents.
• Prepare residents' meal trolleys and trays to standard before serving.
• Participate in general kitchen duties and maintain hygiene to high standards.
