Job summary

Your Care Jobs Ltd in Brixham is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join a 30-bed residential care home in Churston. The role is part-time, with shifts from 8am–2pm or 9am–3pm and 18–24 hours per week, offering a welcoming team and a home-like environment for residents.

You will maintain cleanliness across bedrooms, communal areas and bathrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for residents, visitors and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed approach to work.
• Good attention to detail; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Clean residents' bedrooms and communal areas.
• Clean bathrooms, corridors, lounges and other areas of the home.
• Follow hygiene procedures and replenish supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and work with the care team to ensure a welcoming environment.
