Job summary

Care Dorset Limited is seeking a dedicated cleaner to help provide a clean, welcoming environment for people we support, staff and visitors across our services.

You will undertake general cleaning tasks, maintain infection control standards and keep equipment in good order. Part-time role, 18 hours per week, 8am–2pm with alternate weekends; generous annual leave and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking a variety of general cleaning tasks which may be in clients’ rooms and/or communal areas, including bed making, vacuuming, dusting, floorwashing, dishwashing, toilet cleaning, emptying bins and recycling.
• Cleaning to the expected standards, in line with Care Dorset’s policies and procedures, including the infection control policy.
• Keeping all cleaning equipment in good working order and carrying out routine maintenance tasks on cleaning equipment.
• Keeping basic records up to date, including cleaning charts in rooms, providing evidence of cleaning for audits and inspection purposes.
