Job summary

Hutchinson Care Homes is recruiting a Housekeeper - Maternity Cover to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our care home. You will adhere to infection control procedures, manage stock, and participate in training and staff meetings. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work within a team are essential.

We offer onsite training and support, with a competitive rate of pay and opportunities for progression. Prior care home experience is required.

Qualifications

• Six months+ experience in a care home setting (required).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and materials.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Comply with infection control procedures and PPE.
• Ensure cleaning of all areas to the highest standard.
• Organise deep cleaning duties when required.
• Complete documentation as and when required.
• Ensure cleaning and laundry supplies are stored safely and used to minimise wastage.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Promote good housekeeping and health and safety.
