Hutchinson Care Homes seeks a dedicated Housekeeper for its Antrim care home. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, coordinate cleaning and laundry tasks, and support daily operations with a professional, team‑oriented approach.

The role offers onsite training, a supportive team, and opportunities for progression. Flexible patterns may apply, with a focus on infection control and resident dignity.

Competenze

• At least six months experience working with patients within a care home setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and materials.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Mansioni

• Comply with infection control procedures and PPE.
• You may be required to work in other homes in the business at short notice to assist with staffing levels.
• To ensure cleaning of all areas of the home are to the highest standard.
• To organise deep cleaning duties when required.
• Complete documentation as and when required.
• Ensure cleaning and laundry supplies are stored safely and used effectively to minimise wastage.
• Attend all necessary training.
• Participate in any other duties detailed by management that may be considered relevant.
• Report and record any breaks or damages to your Manager/Deputy Manager.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude when carrying out duties and be willing to put in an extra effort if an unexpected situation arrives.
• Promote good housekeeping, in respect of health and safety and ensure that there is no neglect of property and ensuring a well maintained area of care.
• Keep all cleaning store rooms neat and tidy as well as ensuring there is enough stock.
• Order stock as and when required keeping in mind costs and budgets.
• Attend staff meetings as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Main Duties:
