Friends of the Elderly in Haslemere, Surrey, is seeking a Housekeeper or Laundry Assistant to help maintain high hygiene standards across our care home and laundry service. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

You will be a self-motivated, reliable team player who takes pride in residents' comfort, with English and numeracy skills and the ability to use online training tools. We offer learning, wellbeing support, discounts, and a supportive charity environment.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow hygiene procedures.
• Full training provided; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean resident rooms and common areas to high hygiene standards.
• Polish tables and other surfaces to maintain a clean environment.
• Wipe armchairs and dining chairs and manage waste in bins.
• Assist with running the laundry service and basic linen handling.
