Job summary

Highpoint Care Limited is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join the care home's housekeeping team. You will clean and maintain the home to a high standard in line with guidelines and schedules, supporting residents with dignity and privacy.

You will ensure equipment is safe, report faults, monitor supplies, assist with laundry, and contribute to a friendly, collaborative environment while upholding infection control and COSHH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the Care Home to a high standard according to guidelines and schedules.
• Respect resident confidentiality, privacy, dignity and choice.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH and Health & Social Care Act requirements; ensure safe laundry service and infection control awareness.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order; report faults to Caretaker and Home Manager.
• Check areas have adequate housekeeping items; inform manager of shortages.
• Spot clean spillages as they occur and take initiative.
• Be an active, helpful team member; participate in training and contribute to a friendly, supportive environment.
