Job summary

Agincare is looking for compassionate carers to join The Chestnuts, delivering high-quality care in a welcoming home. You will help keep communal spaces clean, support residents with daily living, and contribute to a warm, dignified atmosphere.

We offer £12.87 per hour, a refer-a-friend scheme, funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5, Blue Light Card discounts, and a company pension. Applicants must have right to work in the UK and be available 30 hours per week with alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• Positive attitude and pride in your work
• Availability to work 30 hours per week, including alternate weekends
• Shift patterns to be discussed at interview

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas safe, clean, and welcoming
• Dust, polish, and vacuum residents’ rooms to a high standard
• Work with the management team to maintain hygiene standards
• Bring warmth and kindness to residents through small acts—smiles, chats, and friendly presence
