Job summary

Dunlarg Care Home in Keady, County Armagh, operated by Healthcare Ireland, seeks a General Assistant to support housekeeping, kitchen and laundry functions and assist with daily operations to ensure high standards for residents.

The role involves helping with meals, cleanliness, and resident wellbeing, reporting to the Housekeeper and Chef, and contributing to a warm, person-centred home environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the expected standards are achieved throughout the home
• Cover domestic, kitchen and laundry duties - training in all 3 areas provided
• Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule. Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations
• Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
