Job summary

Pond Park Care Home in Lisburn is seeking a General Assistant to support housekeeping, kitchen and laundry operations. The role contributes to high-quality, person-centred care in a warm, supportive environment.

Working as part of the Kitchen and Housekeeping team, you will assist with meals and a clean, safe environment, reporting to the Housekeeper and Chef. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• General Assistant role involves housekeeping, kitchen and laundry duties.
• Training in all three areas is provided.
• Role is 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the home meets expected standards across duties.
• Cover domestic, kitchen and laundry tasks; training in all three areas provided.
• Identify and report faults or damage to maintenance or management.
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
• Follow COSHH regulations for cleaning products; assist with additional duties as required.
