Job summary

Bupa UK operates Freelands Croft Care Home in Fleet, an on-site maintenance role focused on keeping facilities fully functional and compliant. You’ll support dementia care environments, manage repairs, and uphold safety and cleanliness across the home.

The role is permanent and part-time, with 25 hours per week over three days and occasional weekend duties. On-call responsibilities may apply and relevant building services knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of building services including heating, water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution and plumbing.
• Experience with planned maintenance systems and record keeping.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and compliance practices.
• Full driving licence required.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and maintenance software.
• Customer-focused and flexible to meet changing demands.
• Experience in painting and decorating is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health, safety and compliance checks using digital systems as directed by SOPs.
• Close tasks assigned by Maintenance Manager or Home.
