Job summary

Ann’s Care Homes is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness across the service and laundry, ensuring minimal disruption to our service users.

You will follow safe systems of work, use COSHH products safely, and understand cleaning requirements for various surfaces while liaising with service users, families and staff. Training and a uniform are provided, with immediate interviews offered.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of COSHH.
• Knowledge of basic Health and Safety.
• Infection prevention and control.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry.
• Practice safe systems of work and assess risks.
• Use COSHH regulated products safely.
• Understand cleaning requirements for different surfaces and equipment.
• Communicate with service users, families and colleagues.
• Be Health and Safety aware and follow safety policies.
• Ensure safe and tidy storage of supplies.
• Report faults with equipment and maintenance needs.
