Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the care team. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment for service users and staff, with a focus on cleaning, stock replenishment and safety compliance.

Applicants should be able to manage pressure, work as part of a team and demonstrate genuine care and compassion within a social care setting. Apprenticeship opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Understand Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Genuine interest in working in a social care environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home’s furniture, furnishings and fittings are clean.
• Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings are clean.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and bins daily with safe disposal of waste.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly and communal areas daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals per COSHH requirements.
• Restock paper products and dispensers.
