Ann's Care Homes in Limavady is seeking dedicated care support staff to maintain cleanliness and safety across our service and laundry areas. You will follow safe moving and handling practices, use COSHH-regulated products correctly, and participate in ongoing training.

The role requires effective communication with service users, families and colleagues, and strict adherence to health, safety and fire policies. Immediate interviews offered, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of COSHH.
• Knowledge of basic Health and Safety.
• Infection prevention and control.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry.
• Practice safe systems of work, e.g. moving and handling by assessing risk and following best practice.
• Use a variety of cleaning products with attention to COSHH regulated products.
• Understand cleaning requirements for different surfaces and equipment.
• Communicate and engage effectively with service users, their families and colleagues.
• Be Health and Safety aware and follow Health & Safety and fire safety policies.
• Ensure safe and tidy storage of supplies.
• Report faults with equipment and maintenance/replacement needs.
