Job summary

OSJCT Group's St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home in Arundel is recruiting a Cook to join our caring catering team. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, accommodate dietary needs and maintain high standards of food hygiene.

This role is 30 hours per week with a shift pattern from 8am to 7pm on three days, and occasional weekend work at higher weekend rates. We offer not-for-profit employment with benefits including a pension, free uniform, DBS check, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen and catering for specialist diets.
• Experience feeding large groups.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate; Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents with attention to nutrition.
• Work with care team to meet dietary needs.
• Assist with weekend shifts as required.
