Chef Results Ltd is seeking a chef/cook to work alternate weekends at a care home, with daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 2pm. The role involves preparing nutritionally balanced meals for 30-40 residents and accommodating special dietary needs, with full training provided.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in fresh food kitchens, strong communication skills, and the ability to cater for events. DBS, Food Safety, Food Allergen certificates and IDDSI knowledge are required.
An excellent opportunity for a chef or cook to work alternate weekends at a care home, this role is day time shifts Saturday and Sundays 8am to 2pm. This position is for a chef/cook to work for an excellent care home group, in one of their care homes that caters for between 30 to 40 residents at any one time. In this job you will be providing nutritionally balanced and visually appealing meals whilst also catering for special dietary requirements, but full training will be given.
Requirements:
A Chef who has a a proven track record of working in fresh food kitchens, for a minimum of 2 years, is required to take on this position. A chef who has good communication skills, and a positive attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to not only provide meals for the residents but also cater for parties and birthdays etc… to make a difference.
All chefs must have a current DBS, Food Safety Certificate, Food allergens Certificate and knowledge of IDDSI.
