Oaklands Care Home (Laindon) in Basildon, Essex, is seeking a Cook to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and deliver nutritious meals, catering to individual dietary needs, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety under a consistent day-shift pattern.

This role offers 30 hours per week with a stable day schedule, paid DBS, uniform, and development opportunities within Care Concern Group.

Formación

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver high quality, nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Ensure high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety.
• Support menu planning and contribute to a varied dining experience.
• Help the kitchen run smoothly and maintain a consistent day-time shift pattern.
