Job summary

Northcare Residences Glasgow in Clarkston is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This is a full-time or part-time role with £13.45 per hour.

You will clean residents' rooms, assist with laundry, follow infection prevention procedures, and report maintenance issues. We offer paid training, development opportunities, pension options, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable, and compassionate approach.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and storing clothing and linen.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues as required.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the home.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness.
