Choice Care Group is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare healthy, balanced meals for residents in our Stoke Lodge home near Basingstoke. You will manage weekly menus, shopping lists and maintain high safety and hygiene standards.

You will work with care staff to meet dietary needs, allergies, and ensure quality meals that support residents’ wellbeing. The role requires careful budgeting and accurate records, with a strong team approach and a professional attitude.

Formación

• Oversee weekly budgets and shopping lists.
• Create appropriate, exciting and well-balanced menus.
• Ensure all special dietary needs are followed.
• Familiarise yourself with residents’ allergens.
• Prepare food to a high standard.
• Maintain relevant records and controlling stock rotation.
• Ensure the kitchen is always clean and hygienic.
• Complete weekly food shops whilst managing the budget and adhering to safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Create menus that are appropriate, exciting and well-balanced for residents.
• Prepare and serve meals for the home.
• Follow dietary restrictions and allergies for residents.

• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleaning standards.

• Set a professional example in methods, presentation, timekeeping, and hygiene.
