Job summary

Cucumber Catering is seeking experienced Agency Chefs to work in care homes, respite services and rehabilitation units across the UK. You will prepare and serve high‑quality meals tailored to residents' dietary needs, collaborating with care teams to maintain nutrition and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare a varied menu that meets the nutritional needs of residents and patients
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time
• Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards
• Cater for specific dietary requirements, including allergies and special diets
• Work within a budget while maintaining high standards of food quality
• Manage kitchen staff, including training and scheduling
• Order and manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Engage with residents and patients to receive feedback and improve the menu
