Job summary

Rowan Park Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, seeks a Chef to deliver nutritious meals that support resident wellbeing. You will own food preparation and service, tailoring to dietary needs, maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards, and contributing to menu planning in a supportive team.

There are no late evenings or split shifts, with a strong work-life balance and ongoing training and development opportunities. DBS paid, pension and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive and reliable approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, nutritious meals that residents look forward to daily
• Own food preparation and service, tailoring to dietary needs
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and presentation standards
• Contribute to menu planning and kitchen organisation
• Work within a supportive team with no late evenings or split shifts
