Job summary

Ashlea Court Care Home in Ashgill, Scotland, is seeking a part-time Chef / Cook to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that support residents’ wellbeing, routine and enjoyment.

You’ll take ownership of food preparation, tailoring menus to dietary needs, maintaining hygiene and presenting meals to a high standard. With no late evenings or split shifts, the role offers a consistent pattern and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, nutritious meals tailored to residents' needs.
