Job summary

Ash Grange Nursing Home is seeking a Chef to deliver high-quality meals in a 27-hour-per-week role, with no late shifts and a strong focus on resident wellbeing. You will prepare nutritious meals, tailor dishes to dietary needs, and maintain presentation, hygiene and safety standards, while participating in menu planning and kitchen organisation.

The position offers paid DBS, uniform, and a comprehensive benefits package within Care Concern Group.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• As a Chef, deliver high quality, nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences.
• Take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
• Contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and day-to-day service.
• Work as part of a supportive team with no late evenings or split shifts.

Education
