Job summary

Excelsis Healthcare is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our UK team. The role requires ASAP start, full-time hours, and visa sponsorship is available. Compensation is £12.82 per hour.

You will assist residents with personal care, support meals, build rapport, monitor nutrition, and advocate for dignity and participation in activities. Applicants should have at least 1 year of care home experience and be able to work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Health care Assistant in a Care home setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming).
• Support eating and drinking.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and respond to their needs.
• Create a positive mealtime environment and monitor nutritional status.
• Advocate for residents and promote dignity.
• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Report concerns to the Household Lead.
