Job description

As a Care Home Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of tasks that help provide quality care for the residents. Your responsibilities will span across care, housekeeping, and catering, allowing you to develop a diverse set of skills. You'll be an integral part of the team, contributing to a warm and homely atmosphere where the residents' needs come first.

Main duties of the job

As a Care Home Assistant, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cooking meals, maintaining a clean and well-kept environment, and spending one-on-one time with the residents. You'll need excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a positive, can-do attitude. Prior experience in care, housekeeping, or catering is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided to help you thrive in this role.
