Job summary

Bowburn Manor, a brand-new luxury care home opening in Bowburn, Durham, seeks a capable Care Home Administrator to join the founding team. You will shape operations from day one with the management group, establishing processes that support exceptional care and resident experience.

As the face of the home, you will welcome guests, manage payroll, maintain records, and ensure compliance while helping foster a positive culture for residents, relatives and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Administrative, office management or reception experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience of Cool Care would be advantageous.
• Professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A positive and proactive approach.
• A genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

• Be the Face of Bowburn Manor: Welcome visitors, residents, families and professionals with warmth and professionalism.
• Support the Day-to-Day Running of the Home: Provide administrative support that helps the home operate efficiently.
• Manage Financial Administration: Maintain resident accounts, invoicing information and reporting systems accurately.
• Coordinate Payroll and Personnel Records: Support payroll processes and maintain staffing records and documentation.
• Maintain Compliance and Records: Ensure files are organised and compliant with policies and regulations, including onboarding new colleagues.
• Support Communication Across the Home: Manage enquiries and correspondence in a timely manner and assist with showing and marketing.
• Contribute to Home Culture: Help create a welcoming, respectful environment for residents, relatives and colleagues.
