Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking an Admin Assistant to support a busy care home team and deliver high-quality resident care in daily operations.

You'll answer phones, manage files, greet visitors, engage with residents and visitors, and help managers keep the home running smoothly in a warm, welcoming environment.

Training is provided and you'll have opportunities to develop your skills across all responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Good computer skills for admin tasks and record keeping.
• Confident telephone manner for calls and inquiries.
• People person with empathy for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and handle calls.
• Organise and manage filing and documentation.
• Support managers with daily administrative tasks.
• Meet and greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Engage with residents and their families to provide a welcoming environment.
• Show prospective clients and families around the home.
