Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator for their care homes in the Northwest. You will plan engaging activities for residents, including those living with dementia, from arts and crafts to outings, aiming to keep them active and connected.

The role offers a permanent 30-hour contract, with Monday–Sunday shifts and a £250 welcome bonus. Training will be provided to support you in delivering meaningful experiences daily.

Qualifications

• A caring, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Creativity and confidence to lead group and one-to-one activities.
• An interest in working with elderly people and people living with dementia.
• Previous experience in a care or activities role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities that reflect each resident's interests, abilities and life experiences.
• Organise arts and crafts, music sessions, games, gentle exercise, celebrations and outings.
• Support residents to stay active, connected and engaged.
• Lead group and one-to-one activities.
