Job summary
CareTech is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join The Oakleaf Group sites near Northampton. You will join our facilities team to maintain safe, high-standard nursing home environments, with flexibility to travel between sites and a focus on reliability and care.
You will be based at Hartwell, Hilltop House, and will be involved in painting, decorating, heating system support, cleaning duties, and exterior fabric maintenance, contributing to the provision of high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel between sites as required.
- Compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Proactive with task prioritisation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance tasks as instructed.
- Perform internal/external painting and decorating.
- Assist with cleaning and grounds tasks.
- Operate and maintain heating and hot water plant.
- Help maintain building exteriors and fabric.
