Easteden is seeking a Catering Assistant to support high-quality catering and dining services within our Home. You will help prepare, present and serve meals to residents, visitors and colleagues, ensuring a safe, welcoming, person-centred dining experience in line with policies and food safety standards.

You will work closely with catering, care and nursing teams, supporting residents’ nutrition, hydration and daily wellbeing while upholding dignity and respect in all interactions.

Qualificações

• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualification).
• Experience within a catering, kitchen, hospitality, care or customer service environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English with residents, families and colleagues.
• Understanding of safeguarding, food hygiene, infection control, COSHH and health and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, present and serve meals, snacks and beverages following procedures and food safety standards.
• Support a welcoming, dignified dining experience for residents and visitors.
• Assist with texture-modified diets and hydration support where needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining and kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with catering, care and nursing teams to ensure smooth service.
