Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective day-to-day running of the homecare service by establishing close contact with staff and conducting regular reviews of Health and Social Care standards.
• Liaise with coordinators to allocate workers appropriately to meet client needs.
• Monitor staff regularly to ensure high standards of care within the homecare sector.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, service users, staff, and colleagues.
• Maintain good communication through regular staff and team meetings.
• Serve as a specialist champion in areas such as dementia, leadership, workforce development, or mental health.
• Ensure compliance with the company's recruitment and employment procedures.
• Maintain staff and service user records, ensuring confidentiality.
• Comply with SSSC Code of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards for Care at Home.
• Conduct spot checks of service delivery and staff performance.
• Utilize company scheduling systems like Coldharbour and CM2000.
• Conduct Care Plan and Risk Assessments, creating individual Care Plans tailored to each service user's needs promptly after service commencement.
