Job description

The Care Co-Ordinator role requires candidates who can multi-task, have excellent communication skills, and work well under pressure. They should be professional, polite, attentive, accurate, and capable of representing the business at a senior level, both internally and externally. The role of Field Supervisor is diverse, fast-paced, and demanding.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the effective day-to-day running of the homecare service by establishing close contact with staff and conducting regular reviews of Health and Social Care standards.
  2. Liaise with coordinators to allocate workers appropriately to meet client needs.
  3. Monitor staff regularly to ensure high standards of care within the homecare sector.
  4. Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, service users, staff, and colleagues.
  5. Maintain good communication through regular staff and team meetings.
  6. Serve as a specialist champion in areas such as dementia, leadership, workforce development, or mental health.
  7. Ensure compliance with the company's recruitment and employment procedures.
  8. Maintain staff and service user records, ensuring confidentiality.
  9. Comply with SSSC Code of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards for Care at Home.
  10. Conduct spot checks of service delivery and staff performance.
  11. Utilize company scheduling systems like Coldharbour and CM2000.
  12. Conduct Care Plan and Risk Assessments, creating individual Care Plans tailored to each service user's needs promptly after service commencement.

Salary: £23,000+ per annum, depending on call-outs (£15.35 per call-out rate).
