IC24 is recruiting Care Co-ordinators for Integrated Urgent Care, supporting NHS 111, CAS and Out of Hours services. You will own an allocated service area, manage queues, coordinate resource deployment and support frontline colleagues to deliver safe, timely patient care in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility, strong communication, teamwork and the ability to prioritise under pressure. Eligibility to work in the UK and a satisfactory DBS disclosure are required.

The Role

We are looking for Care Co-ordinators within our Integrated Urgent Care Division, supporting our NHS 111, Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast- paced operational environment, coordinating activity, solving problems, and supporting frontline colleagues to deliver safe, effective and timely patient care. At IC24, our Integrated Urgent Care services rely on skilled operational colleagues who can respond to changing demands, support service flow, and help ensure patients receive the right care at the right time. As a Care Co-ordinator, you'll take ownership of an allocated service area, helping to manage queues, coordinate resource deployment and support colleagues to deliver high- quality care while maintaining service performance.

What you’ll focus on

• Coordinating service delivery – you'll take day- to- day ownership of an allocated service area, such as NHS 111, CAS or Out of Hours, helping to ensure services run safely, efficiently and effectively throughout your shift.
• Managing service flow and queues – you'll monitor queue activity and patient demand, responding to pressures and helping maintain service performance while ensuring patients receive timely access to care.
• Supporting operational colleagues – you'll provide guidance and day- to- day support to frontline colleagues, helping them navigate challenges and ensuring they have the support needed to deliver excellent patient care.
• Monitoring performance – you'll monitor service performance against key targets and take appropriate action to support delivery, escalating concerns when required.
• Supporting workforce deployment – you'll help identify staffing gaps, changing demand and operational pressures, working with operational leaders to ensure appropriate cover and service continuity.
• Supporting patient safety – you'll identify and escalating risks relating to service delivery, patient safety, capacity or performance and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Communicating effectively – you'll work closely with operational and clinical colleagues, ensuring clear communication, effective handovers, and collaborative working across services.
• Improving how we deliver – you'll contribute ideas and improvements that enhance service delivery, quality, and the experience of both patients and colleagues.

The environment you'll work in

IC24’s Integrated Urgent Care services operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year within a fast- paced operational environment. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, service pressures and demand throughout your shift. You will work as part of a supportive operational team and may provide support across multiple services and locations when required.
