Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare Hungerford is hiring a Care Coordinator on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours/week). You’ll work with the Branch Care Manager to ensure visits are well-planned, carers supported, and customers receive reliable, high-quality care.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to study), a full UK driving licence, and strong communication and decision-making skills. Salary is £14,700–£15,750 per year. Applications deadline 21 December 2026.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills with confidence in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans reflecting each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service in every interaction.
