Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited is seeking a Homecare Coordinator for our Dundee and Perth services. You will coordinate care packages, schedule visits and rosters, and liaise with local authorities to ensure quality outcomes for service users and staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience in care coordination, strong communication, a valid driving license, and good knowledge of Dundee/Perth. On-call duties attract additional payments; company benefits are highlighted above.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Coordinator in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and access to own transport.
• Good geographical knowledge of Dundee and Perth.
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with local authority referrals team to match new packages of care.
• Set up service users' package of care on the rostering system (People Planner).
• Schedule service visits and Homecare working schedules.
• Communicate with frontline staff about service delivery.
• Participate in the branch out of hours on-call.

We are currently recruiting a Homecare Coordinator for our Dundee and Perth services. The successful applicant will have a track record in delivering high quality care at home services, be an excellent communicator with a focus on creating positive outcomes of colleagues, staff and service users.

Ideally, the candidate will have a good geographical knowledge of Perth and Dundee, experience with electronic rostering systems and the effective scheduling of service users' care plans and Home carers' working rotas.

Please note there is an on-call requirement for this post, which attracts additional payments to your basic salary.

Ideally, the candidate will have;

• Highly motivated, ambitious and passionate about providing high quality care services
• Previous experience as a Care Coordinator in a Health & Social Care setting is preferred but not essential
• Proven ability to manage and maintain a dynamic & excellent quality care service
