Job summary

crooton in Torquay is seeking Female Support Workers to join teams across Buckfastleigh and Newton Abbot, willing to work across both sites to ensure continuity of care.

You will support individuals with learning disabilities through personal care, behaviour support, daily living tasks, medication assistance, and accompanying them on outings, with 24-hour care rotas and varied shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required (essential).
• Willingness to work across Buckfastleigh and Newton Abbot.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviours with empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive personal care following SALT plans.
• Support individuals with daily living, finances and medication management.
• Drive clients to appointments and arrange community outings as needed.
• Manage high-level behaviours with calm, redirection techniques.
