Job summary

Home Instead Reading is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Professional to join our supportive team. The successful candidate must be a driver with access to their own car and be committed to providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

We offer award-winning training, flexible working hours, full training and ongoing support, plus opportunities to progress within the organisation. No prior experience required as we provide training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with daily living activities and mobility.
• Assist with meal preparation and light household duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with medication reminders where required.
• Promote clients' independence, dignity, and well-being.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team.
