Job summary

Absolute Care Services in London is seeking carers to visit older adults in their homes, helping with daily tasks so they can stay in a familiar environment and retain treasured memories. No prior experience is required and full training will be provided.

You'll support with personal care, meals, domestic activities, shopping, and provide a warm, reliable companionship to clients in the community.

Responsibilities

• Visiting older vulnerable adults in their own homes and helping with everyday tasks so they can continue to live in a familiar environment.
• Support with personal care including getting up in the morning and getting ready for bed while being present during shower or bath.
• Assist with dressing/undressing.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Domestic helping with the laundry or other household cleaning.
• Support with shopping and managing bills.
• Be a warm reliable companion who they can rely on for support.
• Daily living assistance and getting up and about.
• Motivating to achieve the goals they have set.

• £12.71 Monday -Friday & £12.91 Weekends per hour,plus mileage allowance+ Enhanced Bank Holiday Rates.

When people can't do what they used to do for themselves, their world shrinks. they may spend more time alone, see less people and may even start to wonder if anyone does care. That's whereyoucome in to give isolated people contact to the outside world and show them they are not forgotten.

Duties include:

• Supporting clients to relearn skills and regain their independence in their own home
• Help with elements of personal care including getting up in the morning, prepare for bed in the evening by being there whilst they have a shower or bath.
• Assist them with dressing/undressing.
