Job summary

A Care Assistant role for night hours at a welcoming care home in the NG8 area of Nottingham is available. The job involves supporting residents with personal care, daily routines, light housekeeping, and safety, with a focus on emergencies and accurate record-keeping.

Ideal candidates will have proven care experience, with up-to-date training in Safeguarding, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. DBS check must be current, or arrangements can be made if needed. Visa support is not offered.

Qualifications

Ideal role for a Care Assistant looking for Night Hours.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants for night shifts during the week at our welcoming care home in the NG8 area. This is your chance to provide exceptional care and support to our wonderful residents.

In this role, you will be an essential part of our residents' lives:

• assisting them with personal care,
• daily routines to ensure their comfort and safety.
• help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Your responsibilities will include
• responding to any emergencies,
• and keeping accurate records of the care provided.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and have experience in a care setting. If you are committed to making a positive impact and are available for weekday shifts, both day and night.

If you wish to be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following:

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

You will be able to work from 21:00 to 07:00, on various nights throughout the week

Rate of pay for this role is £13.25 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
