Job summary

Right at Home Central Wiltshire is seeking Care Assistants to join our award-winning team in Chippenham. You’ll provide person-centred in-home care to help clients stay independent, with shifts from 7:00am–3:00pm or 3:00pm–10:30pm, and weekend availability.

No prior care experience is needed; full training and progression are offered, including funded NVQ Levels. We provide travel time, mileage, pension, and a supportive local workplace.

Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but every visit matters.

You'll support clients in their own homes by:

• Providing personal care including washing, dressing and bathing
• Administering or prompting medication
• Preparing meals and drinks
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with shopping, appointments and social outings
• Supporting mobility and independence
• Light housekeeping and ensuring clients remain safe and comfortable

You'll leave every shift knowing you've made someone's day a little easier.

We'll give you everything you need to become a confident Care Assistant.

Your training includes:

• Three days of face-to-face classroom training
• Medication training
• Manual handling
• Basic Life Support
• Infection prevention
• Safeguarding

• Mental Capacity Act
• Comprehensive online learning
• Paid shadowing with experienced CareGivers

After 12 months, you'll also have the opportunity to complete a fully funded NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care, helping you build a long-term career with us.
