Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire Trafford is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our expert team and help us set the standard in home care.

You will support customers in all aspects of daily living, with a focus on dignity and independence, delivering high-quality, person-centred care with full induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.

Requirements

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
