Job summary

SeeMeHired is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes or care settings, helping them maintain independence, dignity and a good quality of life in the Lancashire area. You will work closely with clients, performing personal care, mobility support, meal assistance and companionship, while noting changes in health and updating records.

Only applicants with at least 6 months care experience and right to work in the UK need apply; strong communication and empathy are

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care experience (preferred).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Administer or prompt medication as required.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as shopping, cleaning and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records.
