Job summary

Cera Care Ltd in Manningtree and surrounding areas is looking for a caring Care Assistant to support post-hospital recovery at home. You’ll assess needs, implement care plans, and ensure safe, compassionate daily living for clients in their own homes.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. You will travel across the region with block shift pay and guaranteed hours; some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full training provided.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
• Part-time and full-time roles available, with some weekend work.
• Care NVQ / Care Certificate development included.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and help with daily tasks at home.

Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Manningtree and surrounding areas.

You’ll be supporting our mission to transform social care and help more people live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes. In this role you’ll be assessing individuals who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness and ensuring the correct care plans are put in place This vital service enables people to leave hospital sooner and helps reduce pressure on the NHS.

You’ll be travelling across the region — including Manningtree, Tendering, Harwich, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze, and nearby areas — to provide post-hospital care to those recovering from illness or injury.

About the role:

• Block shift pay, with Guaranteed Hours available for those with flexible availability
