Job summary

Acacia Mews Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to join the resident care team. The role focuses on personal care, maintaining residents’ dignity and independence, and reporting clinical risks. No previous experience is required, and a thorough induction and training programme is provided.

The position requires a DBS Disclosure check paid for by Avery Healthcare and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Opportunities to learn and develop are offered as part of the role.

• Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care while supporting residents’ independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, and report promptly
• Treat residents and visitors courteously, respecting each resident’s individuality
• Use safe working practices across tasks undertaken
• Contribute to the care team to maintain continuity of services for residents
